With their unconditional love, our animals serve and protect us.  We have that special bond with them, and because of this, they often "mirror" us by taking on our energy imbalances. They do this so that we can either learn from them or simply it is because there is an overlap of the energies in the household. So it is just as important and beneficial for them that their people receive energy healing as well.

Reiki Benefits for Animals

For animals who are healthy, Reiki helps to maintain their health, enhances relaxation, and provides an emotional sense of peace and contentment. It can also be used to provide peace and harmony among new animals.

For animals who are ill, Reiki is a wonderful healing method as well as a safe complement to Western Medicine, Chinese Medicine, homeopathy, flower essences, and all other forms of healing. For example, Reiki can reduce the side effects of chemotherapy and surgery, helping the animal to heal itself faster.

For dying animals, Reiki is a powerful yet gentle way to provide comfort, relief from pain, fear, and anxiety, and to ease the transition to death for both the animal and their people.
